Thanksgiving Lab by Bravos and WorkBeats: Gratitude in Action

Last week, we hosted our first Bravos Lab in collaboration with WorkBeats at the stunning AFAS Software facilities in Belgium. The theme? The power of gratitude and its role in leadership, workplace well-being, and employee engagement. Inspired by Thanksgiving, we explored how gratitude can contribute to stronger, more resilient workplaces.

Inez, Isabelle, and Yves shared their visions for the future, and the Lab brought together a diverse group of professionals from both communities for the first time to exchange insights, ideas, and practical strategies.

Highlights of the Event:

  • Inspiring Discussions: Participants delved into how gratitude influences organizational culture, enhances team dynamics, and strengthens leadership.
  • Interactive Activities: Through dynamic rotations, participants discovered ways to incorporate gratitude into their daily work practices.
  • Connection: Like-minded professionals met and actively exchanged ideas, fostering meaningful connections.

Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere through Max Vicca’s photos, and check out the after-movie reel on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Why WorkBeats and Bravos Are Joining Forces

Bravos!, the new name for the Employee Engagement Awards, is a format created by Herculean Alliance, focusing on strengthening employee engagement. WorkBeats, with its strong emphasis on well-being, aligns perfectly with this mission. Together, we are building a diverse ecosystem that:

  • Empowers organizations to foster meaningful connections among their employees.
  • Provides practical tools and insights to enhance well-being and engagement.
  • Celebrates success through awards, motivating teams to go further.

This collaboration allows us to combine our strengths and create an even greater impact for participating organizations.

Why Participate?

Employee engagement is more important than ever, with corporate well-being as one of its key drivers. Research shows that engaged employees lead to better performance, higher customer satisfaction, and stronger organizational resilience. Yet the numbers are striking: 77% of employees are not engaged, and 15% are actively disengaged. This “wicked problem” can only be solved by building a diverse community, and Bravos and WorkBeats are ideal formats to bring people together.

The Thanksgiving Lab by Bravos and WorkBeats was just the beginning of an exciting journey. As we prepare for future Labs and the WorkBeats/Bravos conference, we invite you to:

  • Register your company.
  • Create a case on employee engagement and corporate well-being.
  • Receive valuable feedback from our jury members.
  • Connect with like-minded professionals.
  • Secure your spot for the WorkBeats conference and awards party.

Who knows? You might even win a Bravos award!
